Camarines Sur Police lauds accomplishments on Illegal Drugs

Having 5 arrests for three days

Nabua, Camarines Sur --- A joint operation of Nabua Municipal Police Station, CIDG-Cam Sur 5, RCIDU; Iriga CPS and PIS, Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, implemented the Search Warrants entitled 14-03 and 14-04 for Violation of RA 9165 and RA 9284 respectively issued by Hon. Judge Teotimo A. Panga Jr., Executive Judge of RTC Br. 60, Iriga City, simultaneously last February 16, 2014 at about 6:30AM. at the residence of (suspect) David Del Pilar Pornillos Jr alias “Dayuto”, at NB resort, Brgy. Paloyon and at about 7:30 AM at Zone 2, Brgy. San Nicolas, both of Nabua, Cam Sur, resulting to confiscations of three pcs medium size plastic sachet; one (1) pc Ice wrapper; Two (2) pcs Large size plastic sachet; Ten (10) pcs Medium size plastic sachets all containing Methamphetamine Hydrochloride “Shabu” with weight totaling to  164.62 gms; money; shabu paraphernalia and; two (2) handguns, a cal .45 and a cal .38 with ammunitions and arrest of above named suspect. The Searches were made in coordination with the PDEA Camarines Sur and witnesses from DOJ; barangay officials, Media representatives. Violation of R.A 9165 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Violation of R.A 8294 as amended by R.A 10591(An Act providing for a Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition and Providing Penalties for Violation thereof) were filed against the suspect  before the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office, Naga City and subsequent information was filed at RTC-OCC, Iriga City under Criminal Case No. 10424 with no bail recommended and for violation of RA 8294 as amended is docketed in CC No. 10425 with recommended bail is amounting to Php 120,000.00 and was committed to BJMP, Iriga City. ###(Nabua MPS)

Bato, Camarines Sur ---., PNP personnel of Bato Municipal Police Station conducted Drug buy-bust operation at Bgy. Tres Reyes, Bato, Cam Sur at about 10:20 PM of February 16, 2014, and resulted to the apprehension of Honesto Intia Bartilet, of Bgy. Divina Pastora, Bato, Cam Sur and confiscated Thirteen (13) pcs plastic sachet containing suspected Marijuana. A case was filed thru inquest proceeding against the suspect, for violation of Sec. 5 Art. 2 of RA 9165 docketed under inquest Number: V-10-INQ-14B-00104 at the Provincial Prosecution Office, Naga City, dated February 17, 2014 before the inquest prosecutor Atty. Myzel B Bisa, and same information was filed to Regional Trial Court, Iriga City at about 1:35 PM of February 18, 2014, under Criminal Case Number: IR-10426 together with the respondent and the pieces of evidence with No Bail recommended for his temporary liberty###(Bato MPS)

Balatan, Camarines Sur --- A joint Drug buy-bust operation was conducted by Nabua Municipal Police Station led by Police Chief Inspector Ruben Dalit Padua Jr and Police Senior Inspector Gary DV Mangente of Balatan Municipal Police Station that resulted to the arrest of Darwin Antonio y Pitalbo, a resident of Nabua, Cam Sur for Violation of Sec 5 of RA 9165. Incident transpired at about 12:50 AM of February 16, 2014, at Brgy. Siramag, Balatan, Cam Sur when a policeman acted as poseur buyer during a buy-bust operation and confiscated one (1) plastic sachet containing “Shabu”. A criminal complaint for Viol. of Sec. 5, Art. II of RA 9165 was filed against the accused at the Provincial Prosecutors Office, Naga City through inquest proceedings docketed under IS Nr. V-10-INQ-14B-8099###(Balatan MPS)

Iriga City --- Night Patrol PNP members of Iriga City Police Station, Iriga City, while conducting roving/foot patrol at the lobby of the second floor of Old City Hall, San Roque, Iriga City, at about 12:45 AM of February 14, 2014, caught the persons of Ciolo Reuben Mendez Arines, of San Juan and Hartleb San Jose Baylon of Sta. Elena, both of Iriga City having a “Shabu” pot session together with another person who was able to elude arrest. Confiscated items were: one (1) plastic sachet (open) containing “Shabu”; five (5) asst aluminum foils. A case for Violation of RA 9165 was filed against the suspects before the City Prosecution Office, Iriga City docketed under NPS Nr. V-01-INQ-14B-018, 019 and 020###(Iriga CPS)

Libmanan, Camarines Sur --- a Drug Buy Bust Operation was conducted by Libmanan Municipal Police Station led by Police Senior Superintendent Vicente C Marpuri Jr at about 9:00 AM of February 14, 2014, in Brgy. Labao, Libmanan, Cam Sur resulted to the arrest of Jolan Magsino Vargas and Manuel Duro Abad of Brgy Labao and the seizure of Three (3)  pcs plastic sachets of “Shabu”; aluminum foils; lighters. Further, suspect Lito Vargas Riñon voluntarily surrendered to Brgy official of Brgy. Labao and recovered from his possession one (1) pc. Plastic sachet of “Shabu”; Recovered items were turned over to to PNP Crime Laboratory, Concepcion Grande, Naga City for laboratory examination to include the arrested suspects for Drug Test. Violation of R.A. 9165 was filed thru inquest proceeding against the suspects for violation of Sec. 5 and 11 of RA 9165; at the Provincial prosecution office, Naga City. All suspecst wave their rights for Preliminary Investigation and now presently detained to Libmanan MPS###(Libmanan MPS)
