Police identifies the owner of recovered Vios
A victim of carnapping incident in Bulacan

Camarines Sur
--- At about 6:30 AM of February 5, 2014, a vehicle, a Toyota Vios, color red
bearing Plate No. ZEV-440 was found at Brgy Camuning, Calabanga, Cam Sur. Acting
Chief of Police, Police Chief Inspector Venerando Flor Ramirez, of Calabanga
MPS coordinated to Land Transportation Office (LTO) Naga City, and found out
that the vehicle was owned by Dante
Palomo Santiago, 63 years old, married, a dual citizen (Canadian,
Filipino), married, and residing at Bgy. Salacot, San Miguel, Bulacan. In coordination
with PNP Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG), Naga City, disclosed that PNP-HPG, has no available records/data as to
the status of same whether a hot car/carnapped vehicle or
not. A team Calabanga MPS coordinated to
the Acting Chief Of Police of San Miguel Police Station, Bulacan PPO, Police Superintendent
Fitz Adolfo Macariola, and disclosed that at about 10:00 PM of May 26, 2013, a Carnapping
with Frustrated Homicide incident transpired in front of SMB Grill, along the
Nat’l H-way Bgy. Camias, San Miguel, Bulacan, wherein the stolen vehicle, a
Toyota Vios, color red bearing Plate No. ZEV-440 driven by the victim
identified as Dante Santiago y Palomo residing at Bgy. Salacot, San Miguel,
Bulacan. Initial investigation conducted by San Miguel Police Station revealed
that victim and his lady companion arrived and parked said Toyota Vios in front
of SMB Grill, the lady companion alighted and entered to said grill for unknown
purpose while the driver Dante Santiago left and waited at the driver seat,
when two unidentified male suspects, suddenly appeared and entered the car and
forced the victim to drive it towards south direction and upon reaching Bgy San
Agustin, San Miguel, Bulacan, the driver/victim was dumped on the road with
stabbed wounds on his body, while suspects boarded the victim’s vehicle towards
unknown direction. The victim was rushed to Emmanuel Hospital at Bgy. San Jose,
Bulacan but was transferred to Doctors’ Hospital in Nueva Ecija and soon after
same brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center, Taguig City for immediate medical assistance but later died

Burger Stand divested of cash by 2 unidentified men
Lagonoy, Camarines Sur --- At about 4:00AM of February 10,
2014, while personnel of Lagonoy MPS were conducting mobile patrol within
Poblacion of Lagonoy, Cam Sur and upon reaching Brgy. San Isidro Norte of
Lagonoy CS, they noticed a lady crying beside the street who was later
identified as a service crew of Burger stand in Bgy San Isidro Norte, Lagonoy,
Cam Sur and when asked by the team of what had happened she immediately replied
that the burger stand was robbed by two unidentified men. Initial investigation
disclosed that on or about 2:00 AM of same date, the victim a service crew of
Burger stand while waiting for a customer\, two unidentified male appeared, armed
with a bladed bolo forcibly entered the said burger outlet by pulling off the
gate lock and while inside, tied her mouth with a handkerchief and pointed a
bolo at her who subsequently took and carted away cash/sale amounting to more
or less Php 1, 300.00 placed inside the burger outlet drawer including her
color violet bag containing cash of more or less Php 1, 200.00 which is the
sale from the burger outlet in San Jose Cam Sur. Lagonoy MPS personnel
conducted pursuit operation for possible apprehension/identification of

At about 9:30 a.m, February 10, 2014 Iriga CPS, arrested Flora Victorino, at her residence in Zone 4, Balintawak St. San
Isidro, Iriga City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest at MTCC Branch 2, Iriga City
for Estafa with Bail recommended at Ten Thousand Pesos (P10, 000.00). And at about
2:00 PM of same date, Iriga CPS, arrested Neil
Posugac at Brgy. San Isidro, Iriga City, by virtue of warrant of Arrest
issued at MTC, Branch I, Iriga City for Violation of City ordinance with bail
fixed at One Thousand Pesos (P1, 000.00). At about 3:20 PM of February 10, 2014,
Iriga CPS arrested Oscar Cadag at
Brgy. San Francisco, Iriga City, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by
MTC, Br. I, Iriga City for Violation of
City Ordinance with bail recommended at One Thousand Pesos (Php 1, 000) for
his temporary liberty. Subject persons were under the custody of Iriga CPS for commitment

Pili, Camarines Sur --- At about 5:10 A.M. of February 10, 2014, Bula MPS arrested the Philip Bautista of Bgy. Bagumbayan,
Bula, Cam Sur by virtue of WOA issued at MTC, Pili, Cam Sur, for Estafa (2
counts) with recommended bail of Five Thousand (5,000.00) pesos and was released after

10:00 a.m. of February 10, 2014, Minalabac MPS arrested
Roy Penis, a security guard at his residence in Brgy. Manapao,
Minalabac, Cam Sur by virtue of Order of Arrest for
Slight Physical Injuries at Municipal Trial Court of Cities, Branch 3, Naga

Lupi, Camarines Sur --- At about 10:00 AM of
February 10, 2014, personnel of Lupi MPS while conducting mobile patrol at Brgy.
Bulawan Jr., Lupi saw a group playing of cards known as “Tong Its” and immediately arrested the persons of Ernani Gueriña; Melvin Osila and Andrew Ante
all residents of Brgy. Bulawan Jr., Lupi, Cam Sur and confiscated playing
cards and cash money. Suspects and the confiscated items were brought to Lupi
